Rules

1. For participation in the quiz it is necessary to register and pay 49.99 €. It is impossible to sign up and pay for participation not through a computer or on other website. Money paid for participation in the quiz and for prompts is not refunded.
2. The purpose of the brain contest QuizMillion is to score as many as possible points. The points are scored for correct answers and for each second of remaining time.
3. Each participant cannot use more than three paid prompts during one game. All unused prompts are saved and can be used in next games to the end of the drawing. Three prompts cost 29.99 €.
4. You have one minute to answer one question. If an answer to a question is not given, the Quiz scores it as a wrong attempt and automatically offers to the player a next question to answer.
5. One of the four variants is the correct answer. There is always a correct answer among four variants.
6. The questions of the quiz are chosen at random. An elementary question based on the school program knowledge can be followed by a difficult one that requires deep knowledge.
7. If a game is incomplete for any reasons the result is fixed with points scored for correct answers and those for each second of remaining time.
8. One player has one Login. The quantity of games for one player is not limited. In case the repeated registrations of the same player under different nicknames are found out, all the points scored to all nicknames of one player are cancelled.
9. The task of a Quiz participant is to answer 15 questions top quickly and correctly. The information about prizes is in the PRIZE section.
10. 1,000 players scoring maximum points during all drawings are declared to be winners of the quiz, their winnings are scored proportionally to the points they score.
11. The unique ID sent to a player's e-mail when registering for the Quiz confirms the right to get a prize.
12. The choice of prizes is not a public offer.
13. In disputable situations the player who was the first to achieve the result is considered the winner. GMT is used as the registration time of the Quiz.
14. Any action to overrate results of the quiz using scripts, robots etc. is forbidden. Prizes for the overrated victories are not paid.
15. The Quiz administration has the right to annul the game result if the facts of cheating by a player are found out.
16. The Quiz administration doesn't discuss correctness of the answers with players.
17. Software requirements to use quizmillion.com are:
• Internet Explorer 7+, Firefox, Safari, Opera;
• Cookies usage permission;
• Enabled JavaScript;
• Enabled images in a browser.
18. We also recommend to check up if the settings of a personal and/or corporate Firewall (the program protecting a computer/local network from destructive actions out of the internet) or a proxy server allow JavaScript.
19. 65% of all money got from payment for games go to the prize fund, 35% make operating expenses.
20. The prize fund is €1,800,000. The prize fund will be formed when 55,402 games are paid. Our system is adjusted as when 55,402 games are paid the drawing is stopped and participants take their prizes according to their places in the rating.
21. If a prize fund is formed before the expiry date of the quiz the game is stopped and participants take their prizes according to their places in the rating.
22. If a prize fund isn't formed before the expiry date of the quiz the period of holding the quiz will be prolonged till the prize fund is formed.
23. To get your prize you need to give your unique ID of a participant and prize will be posted to the address concerted with you. You can get your prize during a month after finishing the drawing. The information about the drawing termination will be sited on our home page.
24. Upon negotiation the prize can be substituted for money equivalent that can be transmitted to the winner.
25. These rules can be changed by the Quiz Organizers.
